Awarapan 2 moves closer to its theatrical release. Emraan Hashmi joined producer Vishesh Bhatt and co-star Disha Patani for a live stream on Tuesday. The trio shared several updates about the upcoming film.
During the interaction, Emraan Hashmi and Vishesh Bhatt confirmed the trailer release date. The Awarapan 2 trailer will arrive on Thursday, 6 August. This drop comes just over a week before the film opens in cinemas.
Emraan also made a clear announcement for longtime fans. He said the original Awarapan will return to theatres as a prequel. Viewers who watch the sequel first can then experience the earlier story of Shivam. Moreover, a new generation of audiences may discover the first film after seeing part two.
Vishesh Bhatt highlighted one of Disha Patani’s preparations. She learned to play the cello specifically for her role. On the first day of shooting the relevant scenes, the team faced the challenge head-on.
Awarapan 2 reunites Emraan Hashmi as Shivam Pandit. Disha Patani stars alongside him. The cast also includes Shabana Azmi, Suvinder Vicky, Vijayant Kohli, Aniruddh Rawal, and Atul Kumar.
